True. One of these teams will make the LLWS, but neither will advance very far. The fundamentals are lacking for both teams.

Kearney's leadoff runner walks in the bottom of the 5th.
Umpire blew that one. A called third strike on a pitch way out of the strike zone. 1 down with a runner at 1st.
DP ends the inning. Kearney down 4-2 after 5 innings.
Kearney's batters aren't very good, but they should have had runners at 1st and 2nd with 0 outs.

They are now showing the N. California - S. California regional final. Both teams would beat Nebraska and SD.
The game never resumed. South Dakota was declared the winner since they were leading 4-2.
