Lebron James & His Legacy

Wow. The highlights. Man. I hated the Celtics back then but I tell ya what I respected everyone of the players they had. They were the epitome of “team”. Bird …… just wow.
I was a Celtics fan back then, and I hated the Lakers, but I respected those players too. When they weren't playing the Celtics, I loved watching magic, Kareem, Worthy, AC, cooper etc. In the latter part of the decade as Kareem got older, i thought the celts were gonna dominate them, but then they added fricken Thompson to the roster. Dammit!

And he's only got 3.5 championships...

LeBron is not a contender for the GOAT

@Burning Sensation is afraid to even try to challenge me on this... LOL

This is LeBarbie's LeGacy...

He is absolutely a contender for GOAT and nearly every basketball expert believes that.

Today’s NBA is better than any other era. It’s more skilled and more athletic. The defensive versatility has never been better. Players like 6’4” Gary Payton aren’t guarding larger wings like Jordan anymore. Players like Kawhi, Giannis, and Jimmy Butler would be.

Even legends like Larry Bird acknowledge today’s players are significantly better. When you go back and watch games in the 80’s and 90’s, the countless deficiencies stick out like a sore thumb. Not to mention, the league is now globalized. Europe, South America, and Africa are developing youth players at an elite level. Toni Kukoc was a European legend back in the day. He’s just an average overseas player now.

Nostalgia and memes aren’t going to change that.
