Wondering if anyone had been to or has a favorite guide service at lake Texoma. Headed there next week for a getaway with my boys. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Hey you ever fish in Oklahoma? I’m headed there the beginning of September. Just wondering. We are headed to Tulsa for a concert. I noticed a lake just north of there

Sorry. I don't have any inside info on Skiatook Lake or Oologah Lake. I haven't fished either one, but both have good reputations. Oologah hosts at least one professional bass tourney.

Ft. Sill in Lawton was my last duty station before retiring so I hunted and fished more locally in SW Oklahoma. I have a friend (different than the one that gave me Lake Texoma guide info) who is familiar with the Tulsa area lakes. I saw him a few months ago and he is looking at retiring to that area and was headed there with his boat to fish for a weekend he had open.

Awesome news. I do want to make a fishing trip to Oklahoma and texas. I will definitely contact you when I start making plans. March April a good time to go?

Absolutely, I live in SE Nebraska, but have taken trips to galveston and texoma and also Beaver Lake in Arkansas fishing. Also went to Tampa/Clearwater area and fished there for a day.
