Yeah his lack of carries and playing time makes you wonder. Since he hasn't hit the portal, I have a feeling that he is part of thier plans.

Makes one wonder why a homegrown TE (Boerkircher) would transfer after starting the final 2 games of his junior season...

We'll probably know more after spring ball. Rhule has mentioned him by name a few times, so Ives is probably smart to see where the coaches think he stands this spring before the next portal window opens.

Everyone has their favorites … especially those you have a hand in recruiting. Self serving to play the guys you helped bring to the program.

Beyond that, favorites extend to those that fit your system, style and those who you might have some kind of connection with.

HH was moving towards TE under Frost, the move was delayed by a need at QB.
