JORGENSON SETS SCHOOL RECORD AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
"Gena Jorgenson broke her own school record in the 500 freestyle at the NCAA Championships on Thursday in Athens, Ga. She finished with a time of 4:41.03 to best her previous time of 4:41.19.The sophomore from Aberdeen, S.D. also notched her career-best finish at NCAAs. After being seeded 37th, she climbed to a 27th-place finish. At last year’s NCAA Championships, Jorgenson finished 56th in the 500 freestyle (4:46.43)."
