Cool story about Jake Meyer. At 27 he's finally called up to the majors. Known for his defensive skills (outfield) and power in Triple A, he hits his first HR in his second start then tops it off with a Grand Salami. LSJ has an article too but I cannot open it if you're interested. What a thrill to watch! I've seen all games he's been in since he was brought up, one in person which was his first start, and lets just say he's really excited and taking advantage of the situation. Dusty will have a hard time leaving him off the roster.
