Is the Big Ten West Garbage this Season?

Minnesota with a crushing homecoming loss to Bowling Green -- Gophers second loss of the season.

Wisconsin seems to have no offense. Hung tight with ND for most of the game but eventually collapsed. Badgers with two losses on the season.

We already know Illinois is trash. 3 losses on the season.

Purdue needs to beat the lowly Illini to avoid being thrown into the trash bin as well. Up on Illinois in the 2nd quarter -- but only by 6.

Northwestern did win today but they've already been thumped by Michigan State and lost to Duke.

So that leaves Iowa. Assuming their win against the Hoosiers and Cyclones were quality. That's the lone undefeated team in the West.

And finally, Nebraska. Beat Michigan State and it will appear the division may come down to Iowa and Nebraska for the West crown. Lose today and they'll join the West division trash bin.

But updating this -- the Hawkeyes are struggling with Colorado State!

Lordy, what a poor September for the West.

To this point, the East division appears far superior to the West. Let's see what Nebraska has to say about that.

Does this make our schedule easier?

Have we not learned a thing from the SEC? No matter what your eyes tell you, it is not garbage, it is just that competitive.
