I know myself and @ThotDoc will be at the game. However, we live here.

Putting this up so that those coming in from out of town can ask questions about what to do where to go etc.

Additionally, if you are staying at National Harbor or across the river in Alexandria. I am taking Friday off. If you are in early willing to show you around the sites in the morning. (After about 2 have to go watch a family friend play my grandsons school play volleyball against a family friend who is going to Xavier on schollie next year.

Any questions about good restaurants etc. I am sure I or ThotDoc can help you out. Start throwing out the questions.

Hope to see you all at the game.

Pretty nice gesture on your part. I lived in Maryland as a kid (the 60's) and if you get away from DC it is a beautiful state. I learned to fish and shoot a gun and play baseball there. Camped in Shenendoah National Park on weekends. Their football team wasn't too good in those days but basketball...really fun. The museums on the National Mall in DC are great. The Baltimore Inner Harbor has great food and the Aquarium. Don't miss those. Yes I am a lifetime Oriole fan and have attended games at Camden yards over the years but, hey! it's fall. The Orioles are on their annual fall/winter vacation.

I moved to Colorado about 3 years ago and will miss the game this year, but am driving over to the USC game November 1. @Huskerthom will be a great host for all those interested. I remember the last Nebraska game I went to in College Park and we rolled!!!

I did not know you moved. Will miss meeting up with you at the games close to MD. Lucky for you that you will probably be able to catch way more games in CO though.

Drove thru part of Maryland in summer 2002, seemed decent enough. Wasn’t near DC. North to south, didn’t take long. Western Maryland out of PA, and into WV, and Virginia. Had left the baseball HOF in New York, on the way to southern Georgia to pick up my aging mother, who was at my brothers home visiting. It was a beautiful drive. Virginia is a beautiful state.

That's only 11 miles on I-81

I will be driving up for this game. I lived in Maryland for 16 years and went to school in College park. I will be catching up with some old friends. Really looking forward to this game.
Interesting, who you hearing for.
