Yep, sucks to lose, but I personally won't spend one extra minute lamenting a loss after the best season in Nebraska Basketball history.

Well... I'm gonna spend a few more minutes lamenting the loss, because after such a spectacular season, where we were almost always a 2nd half team, to lose it to the ditch chickens in that fashion is just unacceptable.

But life goes on. I've lived and died with the outcomes of FB games, but never have I hallucinated that the BB team was worthy of what this team has accomplished. So congrats to them. A great season except for the last couple minutes.

Sure it would have felt great to beat them, but man, I just knew, as soon as Iowa beat FL I knew this would happen. At least, I was afraid this was going to happen, and of course, it did. They just own us...its like some sort of cruel joke. Iowa literally ruins EVERYTHING. everything. and they did it, again.

Iowa basketball is really on the rise—give them credit. They are going to be a top team in the BigTen for the years to come. I just hope Fred can recruit some good players to keep us competitive.
 
The only way to end a Sweet Sixteen season on a sour note would be to lose to Iowa. Going 1 for 3 against the Hawkeyes and ending the way it did is rough.

Been a really fun team to watch though and they did some things I didn’t think we’d ever see done at Nebraska.

It was a combination of Iowa rallying Nebraska folding in the last 1.58 sec of the game, we had them until we didn't. Congrats Iowa, you got us, but we'll be back.

They played a very similar manner of basketball as they have the last 15 years...with one exception: they played better defense now. They aren't brimming with talent, as a matter of fact, they were only slightly better than Nebraska’s, and I think with Connor and Oogie, we match them. Iowa isn't going to become some juggernaut, because they don't have the financials to do so.

Proud of what this team accomplished. I'd rather have them lose to Florida. Rooting for IL to end Iowa's season Saturday.

No they are a mediocre team and Nebraska played really poorly to close out this game. That’s it.

I think the other way would have been to lose to Texas. I had to think about it for a moment, but I would rather lose to Iowa than Texas in the Sweet Sixteen.
