Not so sure they will lose to Ohio Stare. That team is currently full of “true believers”.Ohio State and Purdue left on their schedule. Likely loss against tosu next week and miss the B1G championship to a tie breaker. That will leave them at 11-1.
You spelled unbelievable wrong!Congrats to them. I don't care how many transfers he brought from JMU; the one-year turnaround Cignetti pulled off is nothing short of remarkable.
Indiana controls their own destiny. Win out and win the B1G title and they are unbeaten, ranked #1 and seeded #1 in the playoff. Who would have predicted that Indiana would be in this position before the season started? The Buckeyes still control their own destiny. If they beat Indiana, it'll likely force a rematch with Oregon for the B1G title.
Further, if the Buckeyes win out (taking the B1G title) we finish the year with 3 B1G teams sitting at 11-1. With Georgia and Miami losing, we could have 4 B1G teams inside the top 5-7 slots with Penn State creeping up, too.
Texas still has to play A&M, and Tennessee still has Georgia. Time to root Aggies and 'Dawgs, because we could have a final regular season poll with the B1G taking the top 4 slots.
Indiana better enjoy it while they can. Cignetti will be the hottest commodity in CFB at the end of the season, and a whole lot of programs are gonna be courting him.
Before the Husker game I heard a talking head comment that the Hoosier schedule broke down as follows: 1st half it was 126th (approximately) in toughness which explained their great start. Their second half schedule ranked 14th nationally. So the guy concluded the Huskers would win and Indiana would find it's rightful place in the middle of the pack by seasons end. Little did he know...Their schedule rank is pretty weak. I’m not so sure they are a lock without beating, or staying real close to OSU.
I can’t see how any part of their schedule is ranked 14th. Nebraska and Michigan both, aren’t any good. Next week, their schedule will rank 2, for one week only. That, is their proving ground to any of the naysayers. Before the Husker game I heard a talking head comment that the Hoosier schedule broke down as follows: 1st half it was 126th (approximately) in toughness which explained their great start. Of those, Washington, USC, and Oklahoma won’t be making HC changes. Also, his age is a MAJOR factor. Unsure what Florida State does.Yep. Just offhand there are teams like Washington, Florida State, Oklahoma, USC, and others who would love him.
Not so sure about that—he is winning with players from JMU. Not sure that can be replicated elsewhere or even consistently at Indiana.Indiana better enjoy it while they can. Cignetti will be the hottest commodity in CFB at the end of the season, and a whole lot of programs are gonna be courting him.
