What the numbers mean or why they are what they are?
I think they mean Nebraska has a 39% chance of winning. And they are what they are because ESPN's FPI computer model thinks despite our signature wins against Northern Louisiana State University of Cosmetology, that we aren't that good.

Yeah I know what the numbers mean I just didn't think it would be that wide of a spread more like 50-50.
I'm not surprised. Our measurable results aside from some improvement on defense are not great, I don't think even in comparison to llinois. No reason a computer should share my hope in Rhule.
Diff in power ranking is 1.5. Add 3 points for home advantage, as I understand it so they say Ill by 4.5. Calling that 60/40 split on winning seems about right to me.
Start winning and we'll move up.

Hopefully winning starts this week. Success begets more success and it’s time for this team to move away from its current state. We have the right schedule over the next few games plus the bi week to get momentum.
