Should be a 35+ running game to 17'ish passing (so 2 to 1). We'll take a few shots downfield to keep them from loading the box but mostly we'll run it with DD right at them.Curious to see what our run/pass balance is like in this game. IL is not doing well stopping the run, and their linebackers are on the "smaller" side. Looks to be a good recipe for our running backs and tight ends.
I don’t think that’s what we will see. If you listen to the coaches, Dylan has been the most prepared and best decision maker. They will not take the ball out f his hands that much. I suspect we will still be more 1 to 1, unless we start turning the ball over. Just my general observation based on what the coaches are saying.Should be a 35+ running game to 17'ish passing (so 2 to 1). I get that but my thought is why not let the RB's take over the game. DR can hit a few big passes and keep everyone honest. We'll see, but hopefully we don't see more than 22 passes or so. Otherwise I fear we're behind in the game.I don’t think that’s what we will see. If you listen to the coaches, Dylan has been the most prepared and best decision maker. I would love a game with 2 RB's over 100 yards rushing. DR with 200 passing and it's a good game!I think they'll do 1 for 1, see what is working and exploit what they can. Could be wrong. game will tell.. but i think this is a game where if DD is rolling you let him get 20 touches, likewise if DR is rolling you let him throw it up and down the field until it is time to hit the breaks and cost for the final few minutes of the game, similar to what we've seen the first 3 games..
I would love to see it, but nothing I’ve seen tells me that’s what will happen. He talks playmakers and getting them the ball. Our best playmakers are not our RB right now. He will put the game in Dylan’s hands.I get that but my thought is why not let the RB's take over the game. DR can hit a few big passes and keep everyone honest.
