I hate to say it but…

I watched long enough to chuckle a couple of times and shake my head.

I understand the connections here: Fowler's a CU guy. Both he and Sanders worked for ESPN. The network sees it as was mentioned earlier in the thread, a reality show centered around football. It's still hard to stomach, unless you're a CU fan.

The only way they could have made it easier on Sanders Light and the offense would have been to have left the defense in the locker room. You mentioned the 10 yard cushion and there were also several plays where they left guys completely uncovered. I know enough CU fans that actually know football from my decades in Colorado to know they're rolling their eyes at this as well.

It'll be interesting to hear the spin after TCU is done with them.

Spin: "They were just looking forward to Nebraska" :Rolf:

IMO CU is a media darling because it’s a WOKE football program. ESPN is doing their predicable LOVE of CU for all the wrong reasons. If CU only wins a couple of games watch how fast the Prime fan club bails.

I dunno. Getting a sold out crowd out in the snow (2000 showed in 2022), 70 recruits in the stadium, the stars from the 90’s coming back en mass, really experienced assistant coaches, and better TV coverage than Alabama and Georgia’s games — all that is success. I too think CU will have a hard time getting it’s new talent to gel early, and will start 0-2, but that town will be up when the Huskers visit like it hasn’t been in a decade at least.

I feel exactly the same about Deion. Would love to see reality smack him hard.

Here's an example of what got Buffs fans all excited yesterday. No defender within 10 yards.

Colorado was 130th out of 131 teams in total defense and 131st in scoring defense last season. Not surprised Deion could hype up his fan base with an offensive display in their spring game.

Here's another. Where's the defense?

And then that kid transferred. LMAO.

One guy on the Game Thread said she did.
I got the same impression and so did others watching the game with me. She looked unhappy. It could have been the cold, but the face/arms crossed says she isn't over what happened. I don't blame her at all, just pointing out she didn't look very happy at times.

Clearly she hated her experience, that face says it all.
