Sweet 16 was always a stretch
But yesterdays game happened. This team still has a lot of potential including a possible tourny bid

Nebraska's best team that I have seen should have made the Sweet 16, and they lost games. They lost by 20 at Missouri, and they lost by 13 to Okie State at home.
I don't think this team is that good. But good teams can get run out of the gym sometimes. If Nebraska can win more than they lose from here out, this will be a good season.

creighton is a perfect example they are a great 8 team IMO and just got blown out by 20 last week
Obviously not. Huskers sucked on Sunday. Not impressed with EVERY player coming under the screen and giving one of the best 3pt shooting teams target practice.
Creighton doesn’t want to shoot 15 footers. Coach Fred should have mixed up the defense and the full court pressure. He seemed a little shocked by their shooting % and locked up on making adjustments.

I think the OP meant 16 wins. How sweet it would be to get 16 wins. We won’t but there’s always hope.

We need more than 20 wins, and we need to at least compete a little in the B1G Tourney. We can do this, they are all paying the hired guns now, so can we. I mean, I think we can make the dance.
The TeamRankings site I've been watching for a few years does thousands of daily simulations for rest of the season based on team stats and has one chart that shows "Odds to Make the Tournament Based on Win Total". I'm not sure exactly how they put it together, but they say we need 22 wins to have a realistic chance.
