Huskers vs Niagara - Elimination Game - Sat. @1 pm Ctrl - 6/1/24 - O 'Brate Stadium - Stillwater, Okla.

I had a commitment today that I could not get out of or reschedule.

It was a lot of physical work and I am a sore puppy right now.

But a happy puppy.

after our 10 win streak early in the season I thought to myself that this team might be a 40 win team.

For once….I was right!

GBR!!

Did a bunch myself today too so I can relate

My youngest daughters birthday tomorrow to boot

So will rely on y'all tomorrow for updates

We beat powerful and unstopped Niagara
You continue on this track…..

For your info…Niagara had the best season in school history…..made the NCAA for the first time ever….

And you make them seem like some 3rd rate nothing. Sportsmanship??

313 schools in Division 1 baseball.

i know this is a football oriented forum…. But the two sports are COMPLETELY different.

In Baseball…the “little guys” win all the time.

Look at the CWS and see how many times small schools like Cal State Fullerton, Coastal Carolina and a host of others have done extremely well.

A win….is a win in Baseball.

This time of year it matters not the size of the school or whether they are a big name…or not.

Just win…and survive to play the next day.

You are correct - every team who manages to make it this far is solid. Look at Dallas Baptist for example, eliminated #1 seed Arizona in their regional. I remember not too long ago when Stony Brook eliminated LSU. You can't underestimate anyone.

Had NU beat Florida yesterday, they weren't going to touch OSU pitcher today.

So tomorrow's game is where NU would be anyways.
