Huskers vs. Maryland kickoff set for 2:30 p.m.

Better wear some flannel underwear and an over-sized hoodie underneath that hooded poncho. And bring the old blanket to kill that updraft from under the seats.

The CBS 2:30 time slot is the best. The best teams from the best league SEC
How is the SEC the best? The argument can literally be made the B1G is better. The numbers draw out a lot of inconsistencies to really chose either conference as the top ranked at the moment, but they really favor the B1G head to head. The SEC strength of schedule is skewed because teams like LSU benefit from gerrymandered ratings of other SEC teams. Ohio State has the top ranked SOS followed by LSU. Think how LSU benefits from beating a sliding Alabama team, which had a best win over Texas A&M which is barely in the top 40. LSU next best wins are against teams with 2-3 losses Ohio State beat fewer top 25 teams, but the best win is against 8-1 Cincinnati, which beats up on more than the MAC. Cincinnati beat up on UCF and UCLA. (UCLA has a hard SOS and opponent win percentage of 58%.) Minnesota has a better opponent SOS and win percentage than Clemson right now. Overall the B1G appears to have the best out of conference record across the country, whereas the SEC is fourth-ranked with a paper slice margin over the PAC12.

Ohio State and LSU opponents have a combined 55% win percentage, which is pretty equal. But now take into the accounnt that Ohio State destroyed their opposition while LSU has won tight games against over-rated Florida and Auburn teams. Big freaking whoopee. Auburn beat Oregon, but otherwise has a notable win over 3 loss teams Texas A&M and Tulane. Oregon best wins are against 4 loss teams! Minnesota has a lower opponent record of 43%, but easily knocked off Penn freaking State by taking it to them early and often.

Pal the committee will put TWO SEC teams in the playoffs.. LSU and Alabama . Georgia and Florida are strong. The BIG has Ohio State and only Ohio State. Alabama and LSU will put 40 players on their rosters in the NFL case Closed. If you think Minnesota is better than Clemson your football IQ is lower than a limbo bar ;)

Good, it leaves me safely above your position as snake tickler.

The SEC is over-rated. Their out of conference results are the only metrics we really have and these are favorable to B1G teams. You're believing the ESPN hype. ESPN profits from that perspective, do you?

Yea pal the just win national championships because the committee picks nobody's for them to play in the playoffs plus the NFL ONLY DRAFTS THEIR PLAYERS BECAUSE THEY LISTEN TO ESPN...get real
