Reality is UF was CWS runner-up in 2023 and I think started this year with Top 5 or 10 (at worst) national expectations. Was a tough #3 regional draw for us. Not an excuse for the Huskers, still gotta win, but a team that could hit, pinch and win if they got it together. And they got in done in Stillwater. Cold climate UCONN, smoking OU tonight, now has a few superregional appearances in the past 15 years, so it can happen again for us I think if we keep the commitment.

Its not all about money believe it or not not to mention CA kids can get that money and stay home at places like UCLA and "SC as but one example

True, but they were the only Big 10 team with 40 wins, still a year to be happy with.
without a doubt, it was a good year. The difference in opinion is calling it magical.
matter of fact, I believe we had a poster saying it was going to be hard to get 30 wins. I said I figured they would get to 35 wins, which during the regular season was exactly what I expected.
The season on a whole may not have been magical, but I'd say the Big 10 tournament was. And in the end no real disgrace losing to Florida, at least that's what Ok State keep telling themselves.

The Big 10 tourney was great, without a doubt. I have a different view on magical, though...
I don't think anybody suggested losing to Florida was a horrible, or a disgrace. We did talk about needing to upgrading talent, using the portal instead of relying on JUCO's so heavily... stuff like that.
