Who on here is calling him a great coach? The only thing I see is people defending your constant rants about him totally sucking. Do you get what I just said? Nobody is calling him great. Most posters look at his performance as underperforming but hopeful realizing it might take awhile. You spend your entire time just saying he and his staff suck. You defend it as if posters are all calling him the next Nick Sabin. Nobody is doing that. It’s a false narrative you are constantly making up. Maybe cool the temperament a bit. You aren’t convincing anyone of anything. Only reinforcing your position as a hater.
You DON’T extend an average at best coach, with FIVE YEARS REMAINING. You just don’t. That’s the point, and you are sitting here justifying it. Why? Even you should be pissed off about it. It’s put the U in an even worse position moving forward, should it need to make a change. Where were the adults? It was idiotic, dumb, stupid, asinine, whatever word you’d like to use. That’s the point here, and somehow, you are calling me a bad fan, because I think it was stupid? Meanwhile you just suggesting we all should just bow down to it? I’m trying to figure out how the hell even the best of sunshine pumpers can justify it? The performance just isn’t there for that to have even been up for discussion. Better hope like hell NU doesn’t rip off a 4-8, or a 5-7.

You are the one missing the point. You have already based your entire thought process on your narrative that the entire staff sucks.
Until you entertain the thought that you could be wrong, and your posting history has shown that, why do you keep with the arguments. The facts are he took a losing program and moved it forward with two straight bowl games. Everyone knows, short of a collapse he is getting 5 years. Only someone stupid would think Rhule should be fired after 3 years and that our AD should be fired too.

Regardless of how you react to it, the extension is done. I will repeat that for you....it is DONE. On the books.
To continually whine about it is simply attention seeking. You have made your point clear, you don't like it. Now, if Husker football has been in your blood for 54 years, why not support the staff and be positive about the future because again, YOU are not going to get the extension nullified or somehow reversed.
Again, to perpetually whine about it is simply piling up posts so you can possibly go back at some point in the next few years and say "I told you that was dumb". Maybe some posters will say wow you were really smart and make it all worth while.
I’ll add another thing. I’m not seeing anyone totally agreeing or justifying the extension as being deserving. What I’m saying is we don’t know yet and I am defending the “stupid staff” and “needs to be gone” comments as being stupid.
Who said I wasn’t supporting it, or, that I said the whole staff sucked? Not me. Ive simply lost faith in the HC, due to the performance ON THE FIELD. No idea whether the new dudes will help or not? Hopefully they will. Also, I’m not whining about anything, I’ve been arguing with a dummy, who thinks the extension made to Rhule, was a good thing. It’s that simple. Only a dummy would think it’s a good idea to extend a .500 coach, who still had five years left. That’s just butt stupid. The extension has left the school in a very unfavorable position, as of now.
