Not our night…. The tournament team did not show up tonight…

We didn’t play horribly because that pitcher was pretty darn good….

But we didn’t play well. Hope we hit better against Holy Cross.

Utah Valley beat Oregon
St. Mary’s beat Oregon State
Now those are shockers

Stetson pounded North Carolina

Murray State beat old Miss

Creighton swamped Kansas…. I tip my cap to them.

East Carolina beat Florida

Texas San Antonio beat Kansas State

Both UCLA and USC won big
 
Good for the Jays, hope that doesn’t make me a pariah. As long as they’re not taking it to us, I’m OK with them competing to the level they can.

Arkansas has not won it all ……ever… came close a couple of times, but no cigar.

However, I personally think that year in and year out they are consistently the best team in college baseball if you look at an overall timeframe.

Van Horn is just “that good.”

Arkansas is now what Texas used to be…..as I was a kid growing up going to the college World Series at “The Blatt.”

I will never forget James Street from Texas pausing his warm-ups to talk to a bunch of young kids in the stands…. me among them….. about baseball.
