With zero medical training, appears to be shoulder or collar bone. Perhaps those with greater than zero med training can correct me.
I got my first aid badge in Boy Scouts and I agree with this diagnosis.

I tore my labrum and had to wear one of those after surgery so that's my guess
For some reason, I forgot my First Aid training in Boy Scouts and High School. I am especially ashamed to admit this because I did become an Eagle Scout. The brace Hicks is wearing is similar in appearance to what I wore about 5 years ago when I blew out my Rotator Cuff from a bad fall while Snowboarding.
Just don't lose this kid to Iowa!!!

To be fair, my mom was a teacher and she and my dad have been married for 53 years, so there's that.
