The original USFL was awesome. Not sure what this one will be like.
Too bad; Dion, being the consummate showboat, would have fit well.
I don't think the USFL is trying to be a sideshow like other start up leagues like the XFL. They were a big time threat to the NFL in the 80s, and would have continued being successful if not for a certain former president pushing the league to become a fall league and taking the NFL to court.
