They knocked Rutgers out today, game before lost to Maryland by 1. And they took 2 of 3 from Indiana in the final regular season series. Probably as solid of an 8th seed as you'll ever.

I just saw the replay on the home run. Right down the middle on a curve ball that was emphatically FAT!!!!!!! I think, Shay was spent, from falling over the rail!! Terrible pitch!
We need to stop leaving so many on the bases!! Plainly, we had no clutch tonight, anywhere.
"See" you all tomorrow night. Sad state of affairs.

So close!!Crud....could not have asked for the pitching staff to step up much more than that. I know Shay's pitch caught too much plate, but thought it got far enough down the bat not to carry out. Arrgghhh! Definitely lacking clutch when we had scoring opportunities. We play on, let's take the day today and stay alive!

Husker bats went to SLEEP last night. It was going to take a helluva pitching performance by our marginal staff to win that one.
And they absolutely had a helluva pitching performance. More than enough to win. It was all about our bats. Nothing to blame with the pitching.
no doubt, he started off shaky, but was able to settle in and did a great job!
Even our relievers did really well. You can't keep Maryland off the scoreboard forever. Ultimately, our offense was mostly absent.
Lorusso too strong to get a pitch like that, down or not. I I personally think it was too fat of a pitch!
