Huskers Add Transfer From Eastern Michigan

Janay Mortan joins Huskers. Will sit out this season and have one year of eligibility.

Morton, who spent her first three seasons at Eastern Michigan, will have to sit out a year because of NCAA transfer rules. She is expected to have one season of eligibility as a fifth-year senior in 2017-18.

Morton averaged 13.0 points per game as a three-year starter at Eastern Michigan, and the 5-foot-10 guard was a third-team All-MAC pick as a junior.
