A second transfer from Tennessee is ready to join the Nebraska volleyball team, and should help provide immediate depth at NU's suddenly vacant setter position.
Tennessee setter Mary Pollmiller, the 2011 Southeastern Conference freshman of the year, will be transferring to Nebraska and be eligible to play immediately this fall, Nebraska announced Monday.
Pollmiller, a native of Littleton, Colo., was a teammate of Husker outside hitter Kelsey Robinson, who joined Nebraska after leaving Tennessee last December. The two were among four players who announced their intentions to transfer from the Volunteers after last season.
