In the end I think the #4 seed may be a good thing.
Texas gets Wisconsin and Baylor. If top seeds win they get Texas A&M
Oklahoma gets Kansas and Michigan. If top seeds win they get Oregon
Not sure how good Louisville is. If top seeds win I think I'd rather have Oklahoma State over Texas A&M or Oregon.

Worth a mention here.....Bama will have to face Belmont who has that crazy good pitcher.

I think we got a great bracket. Assuming the higher seed wins, and we win our regional, we'd get Ok State for the super regional, and winning that we'd get Arkansas as a first game in the world series. Looking at the other brackets, that may be the easiest road.

I also think Stanford will have a chip on their shoulder for not getting a host, and could challenge Oklahoma State. I like our chances at home against either.

Although Nebraska was the fourth “#1” seed by the committee, in the two polls that ranked teams after the conference tournaments, Nebraska had the number one ranking in both (ESPN – USA softball; and NFCA). Looking at the paths for the top 4 teams, I am not sure one is better than another.

The Huskers finished 5th in all four major ranking services in their final polls. What a year.
