Located on the northeast corner of 8th & "N" streets, on the west deck and inside the loading dock of the former Western Supply Company Building at 820 "N" Street.

Tailgate will be open by 8AM. @Lil' Ike will be preparing biscuits and sausage gravy.

HuskerMax members and lurkers welcomed alike, subscription not required. No need to bring anything, but no one will argue if you do. Food and drinks (non-alcoholic and otherwise) will be in plentiful supply. Donation jar is present, financial support greatly appreciated but not strictly required. Grab a HuskerMax koozie or two while you're there.

There are always multiple tailgates going on in this lot, with footballs to toss around, cornhole games, and other fun things. There are a couple of TVs inside the dock, showing other games being played. Chairs available both on the deck as well as inside under cover.

Recommend patrolling for parking in the vicinity of 7th and 8th Streets between "J" and "L" streets. Expect to pay $20-30 to park. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the stadium from the tailgate, and that walk can go straight through the Haymarket.

My Father-In-Law and my Brother-In-Law came out last year for the USC game. They are both USC fans and had never been to Lincoln before. We were walking to the stadium ( slow because my FIL is old(er)..lol ) and we ran into fjbfour. He didn't know me, or them obviously but he stopped us and asked my FIL and BIL if they were having a good time and welcome to Lincoln.

My FIL still talks about how that was the best sporting event he has ever been to. He's been to a few in his time...lol. He actually was on the LA Laker practice squad for a short time back in the late 60's. Practiced against Jerry West.

He just texted me wanting to know when SC would be back in Lincoln, and hoping he would still be alive....lol. He said he has no desire to go see them anywhere else but Lincoln.

A shout out again to FJBFOUR for the incredible welcome!

I will be at this game but will not be able to stop by the tailgate this time (if you have seen my other posts can understand there will be a million moving parts for me). I will be back for the Washington game and will be sure to stop by.

It was really neat meeting you guys like that, and yeah, I had no idea. Just saw some guys in the other team's colors, and wanted to be welcoming.
 
Upon arrival, I was informed that Sean made the biscuit gravy, not Jon. Well then I reviewed my messages and saw that Jon never actually said it was going to be him that was going to be making it. So this is an extended unnecessarily long paragraph to own up to my mistake, because I sure heard about it when I got here.
