The OWH has an action photo (credited to Matt Miller, their ace sports photog) with that same helmet. It's the last photo in this slideshow. Pretty cool!

I believe I read that the equipment people at NU did those helmets and put the flags on the bikes...When an officer was asked if he was a Husker fan he replied "I'm a football fan"
 
During Bo's recent Press conference he went out of his way to comment on how well the entire football team has been treated. This may be an example of such treatment, a nice little gesture. Nice touch.
