In the name of discretion, I will say it is near a whistle stop town between the forks of the Platte between North Platte and Ogallala. Does it look familiar?
Yes, it looks familiar, but not that far west. Maybe all little streams in Nebraska have a place that looks like this. To me, it is a beautiful sight.
This thread started with an Alaska cruise picture and my wife and went on one in May/June so I'll add some contributions. This one's just after sunset on our first night heading out of Vancouver. I little while after this a whale breached right in front of the ship, but I had already put my phone away...
Love that area, used to sail up there every summer.
