He sometimes makes plays that few QBs can make. He's dazzling one minute and embarrassing the next. I keep thinking what a difference this season would have been with a steady, good player like a Joe Ganz. NU would probably won the West Division. Nebraska doesn't need the next Tommie Fraizier or Turner Gill-just find a Joe Ganz or a Jerry Gdowski. NU needs to find a Steady Eddie who can manage the offense.

MORONS ...COMPLETE MORONS in my home state these dayz !!! you know as well as anybody Husker Dan?? anyway, that that idiot Pearlman, and the AD need to go ....quit being so PC ...we need to stop the bleeding ..and think logically ...anybody can be replaced...it could not be any worse of a disaster than the state of the program is currently ...if Nebraskans don't stop being so NICEY ...and start thinking logically ..we are going to lost what tradition we have left in our program..if we haven't already
 
Hey you, the poster calling everyone MORONS, complete MORONS.

This Mike Riley staff walked into a difficult situation from the first day they set foot in Lincoln.

First and foremost, is the roster left by previous staff. It is well known at least by some that are informed or that do a little research that this Nebraska team they inherited is about as devoid of real talent and difference makers. Want evidence. Go check the recruit classes of 2011-13 that are by and large; no longer in program or are non contributors.

Some very close to the program, and well known people with close ties to this program have publicly stated that this Nebraska team is as lacking in talent as any since the days of maybe pre Davaney. Thanks to previous staff that had a HC that consistently complained about recruiting

And even with this terribly thin roster, that was then beseiged by injuries, Riley and staff are 4-5 single plays, in 4-5 games from another possible 5 W's!

Some people are just clueless
 
We were presented MR and staff as teachers and coaches. They won 3 of their last 4 games. I saw a significant difference in their defense secondary play. MR and staff had a successful season. 2016 will be a winning season and 2017 we will compete for the BIG Championship.
