I had heard his original $$ was 3 yr 2.6mill-ish, im suprised that you get to renegotiate, on such a short term deal. id be stunning if he left over money, what he needs is continuity of coaching and continual OL and WR and RB help to make him look better.

The smartest move is to go where you can show off your talents and get good coaching and access to top shelf facilities, to be as ready for the NFL as possible. That's where the real money is. Jumping around for short term cash seems like a risk for hurting long term cash potential.

Actually that’s not accurate. Trev wanted more control of 1890 including moving their offices onto campus. However, the Peeds weren’t as happy with TA. The relationship between peers and the AD turned 180 degrees when TA left.

I thought that contracts were not allowed. ??
 
All eyes are on him at Nebraska and he's doing great, Oline is kind of limiting him a bit, but he is a freshman and some of his throws have been short, it sure is hard to be too critical. He will get money, but I am thinking he is in it for Nebraska and his family's Legacy, he has to set things in motion for his brother in the future as well. He doesn't need to be at Georgia or Ohio to be a 1st Round Draft pick when his time comes, he's already getting that done here. Question is do we get him for 4 years before he declares?
