If we fire him does he get the same amount? Please tell me we aren’t keeping a TE coach for 1.8M per year.
from what I have heard he still has 1 more year left on his contract so we are on the hook whether he is in Lincoln or notIf we fire him does he get the same amount?

We aren't....Please tell me we aren’t keeping a TE coach for 1.8M per year.
Someone had said he had a 3 year contract when he signed last year unlike the other Asst's I could see him staying around maybe extend him 1 more year at half pay of 700,000 as a TE coach and it all washes out he still gets paid the same just has to work 1 more year to get it all. It's crazy but you never knowIf I recall correctly, the university renegotiated most of the coaches contracts this summer. Those that were renegotiated would all have 2 year contract from the date signed. So summer of 2024 to summer of 2026. I honestly don’t recall if Sat had his contract renegotiated like the others. Regardless, we would be obligated to pay the duration of the remaining contract if let go. Sat got demoted as we all know, and this is why he was still being paid the same.
I am sure someone will come along with the specifics of when his contract ends.
I saw it reported elsewhere also.Carikker said McGuire is out
We don’t have to fire…just reassign him…to like equipment manager. If we fire him does he get the same amount?
Out as WR coach could still mean back as an analyst or something.Carikker said McGuire is out
AC didn't appear to have much love for the kid. Wasn't mean but mentioned he knew that an SEC receiver is transferring here. He seemed happy that we will be a WR destinationOut as WR coach could still mean back as an analyst or something.
The kid is young, but did a decent enough job. Especially last year with all the injuries and with recruiting. Would serve him (and maybe NU) well to keep him around to get some more seasoning.
Last week Hallmark scientists announced they were on the verge of discovering a second plot. This may be it!
