Highly recruited Nebraska kids.

Where did this suddenly come from. It seems every year for the last 2-3 we have multiple kids sought after by the big schools that have a ton of talent in their back yard.

Did we get a better class of HS coaches?. Colemen this year, QBs getting recruited by OSU (the other one ) Now 25 kid with USC on his tale. Just curious to here from those of you that live there.

The quality of play in metro Omaha has been on the upswing for a few years. It's noticeably better than it was 5 - 10 years ago.

There are some good youth programs and training centers. Schools like Bellevue West, Westside, and Elkhorn South have been turning out FBS players on a regular basis for a few years. Creighton Prep, Omaha North, Millard South, and now Gretna have also had some success in developing FBS prospects.

Omaha is also more heavily recruited because of NU's struggles for the last 20 years. It's become easier to get top players to leave the state.

hudl, social media play a major part, finding folks you normally wouldn't even think to look for in this state. that never happened even 20 years ago. the amount of data that is collected and shared on the internet make it easy for schools to identify targets even when they have no relationship with the high school staff.
