High 3* RB Ashton Hayes out of NV is N

I don't understand why we/the team should be excited about signing a 3-star player while other schools are signing 4 & 5 star players.

1. Because they're Huskers. 2. There will be a lot of player ranking movement this year, more so than any other, due to covid. Let's see how these kids perform this coming fall before we pass judgement. 3. Ashton was the Nevada Offensive player of the year as a Sophomore.

5’11” 185lb speedster is how 247 describes him. He looks plenty fast in his Hudl videos. Good pick up for a already stacked room.

Agreed, though I would call our current RB room "crowded" rather than "stacked". Just not a lot of proven production yet... but that could change this year.

He is not deciding until December so this was a prudent move to ensure we got one of our top two RB

I still think we think take Williams of he wants in even with tight numbers

Hopefully the class numbers will not be as tight as 14 or 15

And more than likely it will get less crowded after this year if 1-2 guys separate themselves. Not starting any kind of rumor, it's just the way things are and almost everyone in the room is very young.

Answered my wonderings too. Thinking Williams and Hayes are really two different type of player. Hayes a Duck R? or whatever that wildcat dude's position was.

Hes quick,and works his way upfield using his vision as he tries to work the edge.
Uses his vision and speed well, always creating angles.
