I think that scheme still has a bright future in college football, but I'm happy to see Nebraska go to something more traditional if only because the current coaches have strong momentum recruiting to it.

I’m always amused by posters who say a quarterback isn’t recognizing wide receivers getting open after rewatching a game on tv. The quarterback has 10 guys moving in front of him whose shoulder pads are above his eye level. It’s like driving down interstate with a picket fence on your windshield. In nebraskas case the last few years it also included a lot more oncoming traffic in the driving lanes.
No quarterback can overcome that including Dylan Raiola. We are lucky to have gotten the wins we did under him.

Where are the moderators? For everything they like to vacation people for …. Having posters label Nebraska players either past or present as a punk should be unacceptable and the board has already made their opinions understood to this poster previously.

Calling someone a punk, is hardly an excuse for a vacation. It’s exactly what he was. Him and his family. They earned all of it with their own actions. Chill out. His family held the U hostage. You should be pissed. Lack of moral character. NU is much better off without them.

Give me your experienced examples of how you got TV view of these open receivers behind an offensive and defensive lines shoulder pads higher than your line of sight.

You have two eyes. Tell us, how many times did he throw into multi coverage? He had better options on all but one.
Now any QB who does this is either over confident, or doesnt see the field even less than your grand description.
Dont make this some mysterious qualifier, all of us here know you dont throw into double or worse coverage.
Its as simple as that.

He is not a punk. He was a really good player that had us on the brink of success last year in spite of our line play. You won’t admit that even though your proven better quarterback failed even more miserably. Is TJ also a punk?

You are a fricking idiot with your criticism of players and an example of why I support player transfers. You have zero appreciation of what Dylan tried to do here. He didn’t come here to fail. You act like he was some kind of punk who didn’t try. He gave it his all. Everyone has said that except YOU.

All of those dudes would shine with that talent around them. He didn’t make anyone better while at NU. A good part of being great is making everyone else around you better. That was NEVER the case, at least while at Nebraska. Maybe a new environment will help him? I care less.

Interesting. Another clueless response. How many times have posters been on here saying he was too conservative just taking the easy throws and afraid to sling it downfield and let receivers “make a play”.

So now your argument is he wouldn’t recognize wide open receivers to he constantly threw into double and triple coverage?

So again tell me about your vast experience behind a line with their shoulder pads obstructing your view that you were able to see all the defenders.
