Great Fights

It’s unfair to Bowe, Holyfield, Lewis, Klitschko, etc but, I stopped caring about heavyweight boxing once Tyson became irrelevant. The Fury, Wilder, Joshua drama has brought me back some but I’m looking way more forward to Lomachenko v Lopez than I am a Fury v Joshua fight.

That's probably it for me too.

Toney perplexed me. He seemed to always be in the position to make things happen.....then didn't make things happen. To be fair, he didn't lose until Roy took him down. Jones was a freak in his day as well.
The Roy fight wrecked him. I don't think he thought he was capable of losing and then Roy picked him apart. But Toney, like Hopkins, was so good at not getting hit clean. Everything that hit him bounced off a shoulder or glove before touching him.

Roy Jones wrecked a lot of people.

I think Wilder truly believed he'd be able to just knock everyone out.

Yep. Never developed other tools. I heard all this yapping about his jab hitting another level and being 'Holmes' like coming into the first Fury fight. Bullshite. He still typically throws it for window dressing and as a poor set up for a TM YOLO punch.
