I live for fishing pictures. I’m about to go try my hand on East and West Okoboji tomorrow. I think I’m going to hit mostly pan fish. But the recent drop in temperature has me hoping to get on some Muskie and Northerns. We’ll see.

We got a ton. One right after the other. We were on fish for most of the day. I hooked a Northern or a Muskie for sure. There were some pretty large blips when one hit, damn near took the rod right out of my hand. It broke the line though. Had some fairly large yellow bass that hit hard.
My son got a real nice northern last summer in Miller's bay of west boji, about 8 lbs, and we got a great photo of it, he was 12, a great dad son moment, I had it enlarged, it's on my office wall. We were casting large yellow spinnerbaits, prob 3/4 oz with dual willow blades
40 yr ago, I caught a similiar size northern on the west side of east lake, off the shore of what was then Brooks Resort
