Game #3: NU at Iowa

kids came to play
that is all they can do

Talking about Joe being
so damn unlucky with the
ball. Chastising the cf!! :)

Mettle, nice salvage job. Still 11-4 in B10 and two of last three series at home. GBR! And how about Reece?!?

Nebraska opponents with a winning conference record: NU 0-2 in series (Minnesota, Iowa)
Nebraska opponents with a losing conference record: NU 3-0 in series (Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue)

Remaining: Illinois (currently .500 in the Big Ten), Northwestern (losing record currently), Michigan (winning record currently).

The scheduling gods gave us the four worst teams (current standings) in the Big Ten. While avoiding four teams (Indiana, Rutgers, Ohio State, Maryland) with .500 or better records.

Does it help or hurt to have a relatively easy conference schedule?

It can only bite us in the butt! Will we be ignored, unless we win the tournament?
