I have been posting in yesterday’s thread from time to time.

Totally weird, but some other things have been happening with this latest iOS that I had to call David the owner of husker Max and tell him something was wrong so I’ve got some weirdness going on.

Anyway….

I have ….in my recollection, never seen one inning that completely changed the complexity of a series.

That 6 run EXPLOSION in the 4th CHANGED EVERYTHING!

Three home runs and three more hits in the same inning…. Two of the home runs back to back.

Husker Power!

And our middle relief did fine…. Gave up a run here or there….. and got in tight situations a couple of times, but pitched their way out of it.

Should’ve just walked that Lauaki kid the two times he went to 3-2 then homered.

But I’m being picky.

Let’s get these guys the last game and win this series!

I will have to watch replay, as I missed the early rally, watching...and calling the volleyball match.
 
I also couldnt see the thread, and posted in yesterdays thread. What a great complete game by our boys, Their ability to go offensive from top of the order on down is a big difference with teams from previous years. I love watching these guys! Lets take the series tomorrow and move on with his great season!

Yes and no….I think. If you are talking winning the conference…yup…totally

Regional Host?

If we win the series…and take a game from SC…or the series from SC….

Pretty sure we’d host a regional barring some collapse…..

The rest of the schedule is totally manageable.

Lose tomorrow…and it gets harder….no real slip ups from the rest of the schedule and we’d need some help from the West Coast Schools all bloodletting each other…..and they have a lot of games left with each other.

But I’m getting way, WAY ahead of myself.

One game at a time….

Win the series…..move on.

LET’S GET THESE GUYS TOMORROW!

The Coach I mentored under in high school ball before I took over had a rule that he scrupulously followed.

Never let the best player beat you!

I think we should’ve probably followed that rule those two times we got into 3-2 counts with him… but we did have a lead and I can understand Coach trying to build some confidence in our middle relief. Unfortunately, that didn’t work.

Hell, I would have just intentionally walked him and saved the pitches.
