Shocking … no Ohio State, no Michigan, no Wisconsin, no Minnesota

It's pretty easy to see why we were moved. Realistically we are both 5-3 or close to that at that time and can command a bigger share of the Friday night viewership than we could Saturday. You have the Michigan/Michigan State game and the Ohio State/Oregon game in the BIG. You also have Bama/LSU and Georgia/Ole Miss in the SEC.
This is big revenue sports in action. 1.3Billion last year for the conference with TV rights so its all about moon pie faces in front of the TV and the league gets more this way in their opinion.

And Nebraska gladly deposits another large yearly conference revenue distribution check and smiles.

Nebraska vs Illinois has become a Friday night staple it seems this must be the 3rd or 4th time we play each other on a Friday. So long as its a road game I am fine with it. We have played our share lately but with our overall record the past 20 years it is what it is "mshrug:

Not sure what your point is … Wisconsin playing a Sunday week 1 game on Labor Day weekend before classes even have officially begun is not akin to playing a Friday game in early November.

Minnesota playing a Thursday non-conference game on week 1 before Labor Day weekend is not akin either.

In both cases the choices were theirs to make.
