This certainly should lesson ESPN’s stranglehold on the sport, but look for a lot more bias in the short term if this comes to pass.
When the B1G signs what will likely be a billion dollar + deal that could see each school.make a hundred million dollars each per year

I REALLY like ESPN getting cut out. They (and ABC / Disney) already own too much. They took over Marvel and Star Wars. I don't need them ruining football too.
Yes, I realize CBS, FOX, and NBC are also major media conglomerates as well, but having somebody other than ESPN invested is a good thing. They already own the playoffs and most bowl contracts, and I feel like competition is a good thing.
Also, Big Noon is a VASTLY superior show to Game Day, in my opinion. I'd love to see even more variety, not less.
