Exactly. UCLA exploited a couple mismatches on Saturday, and Locksley "played to win, not to keep it close." Washington is still a dangerous QB, they have a lot of weapons, and we're not the '95 Huskers. There's not a B1G team that can't beat us if we take them lightly.

The timing didn’t give him much time. With the transfer portal he had to act pretty quickly. I think the time spent in the NFL really degraded his ability to both assemble the optimal staff, and to build a better transfer class. It’s the same way we wound up with Sims.
People forget this. Also, coming from the NFL, he couldn’t bring his best players with him as is typical these days with college level coaching changes.

Was bringing half your team even a thing back in his time? I honestly can’t remember, but I think that unabashed wholesale bribery has only been going on maybe 3 years.
I still question if we hold up to a power run game! But the pass rush is looking better!
I’ve been very happy with the pass rush. Defense just needs to improve each week. We actually might have a real defensive coordinator finally. I’m still waiting to see more though.
