He can say what he wants becuase of where he is in his career and the simple fact that he will not be needed to look for his next job, even if things ended right now abruptly

He's a typical B1G guy (which is not a compliment), but he's spot on.
Yeah, I know we keep hearing that viewership is up, up, up, yet I never encounter anyone, except for Texas fans, that seem happy with the situation. I'm guessing that sports betting is drawing more of the eyeballs these days.
I only watch the Nebraska game then I find something else to do.
I'm a bit the same, although I realize now that I haven't watched a full Nebraska game in several years. I'm in Big 12 land, and I slowly lost connection to NU through the years. I've been to 37 games though!

Never forget attending the 2004 beat down there. Texas Tech fans hazing my 5 year old wearing a kiddie Nebraska football uni complete with helmet. What a bunch of losers.
I did go see Oklahoma State there a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the Pokes smacking them around. Tech never made it past the 50 the whole game. Oh and my same son was there (OSU grad) enjoying EVERY MINUTE.

35 for me in Lincoln. 33-2. Only two losses? Oklahoma 1987, Colorado 1990. Probably at least that many on the road. Hell, I’ve been to Norman alone 9 times since 1977 just for NU. Probably 8-9 in Stillwater as well. I was at the 2002 debacle, as well as the pass fest 2010 game. Martinez played lights out that day.
