Mission was accomplished, I had to leave before they went to the cemetery but here are a couple of pictures. 2012-07-06_07-16-08_904.jpg2012-07-06_13-17-40_434.jpg

The one of the motorcycles was at York Airport. There were more behind me. The second one was at the church. The Westboro protestors were in York but were not anywhere near the service.

If you have never witnessed the Patriot Guard and the service of one of United States fallen heroes, you have missed one of the most awesome events any United States citizen can experience, in my opinion. The first time I witnessed one was in Derby, Kansas (as I understand it, the Guard originated there). That display of patriotism and hearing 300+ Harleys bearing the colors of this country fire up on queue; it just literally stands the hair up on the back of your neck. You would have to be without a pulse not to have an emotional reaction to this display.

Godspeed, joncarl. And thank you!

I've been to several services when the Patriot Guard made up a wall to shield the family from the crazies from Kansas. It really is a very powerful and emotional thing to witness, God bless them all, thanks for sharing joncarl - you do us proud. BBR

From one Marine to another, as well as one Fremont Tiger to another, well done my friend. I :salute: you and your brothers that gave our fellow Marine a proper welcome home, as well as a proper send off. Thank you for what you did.

As a son of a career Marine, and a myself a Vietnam vet, let me say how much this touches me. I am so glad that young Hunter is being remembered for the hero that he is. I so much feel for him and his family.

I really wish the east and west coast liberals would pay more attention to this. Great people are dying for them to have their security. I just don't think they appreciate this.

Sorry...didn't want to mix one rant with another.

One of my most vivid memories is when the I returned home from Iraq. The Patriot Guard riders picked up our units convoy of buses, which was coming out of Ft Riley, south of Lincoln and escorted us all the way into Omaha. Don't think there was a dry on the bus to see all this support. For all that the Patriot Guard does for the fallen and returning military members, I salute you JonCarl. Thanks for everything.

Again, good job jc, I also try & make each & every Sailor, Marine, Soldier, Airman, etc last rites in the area. Pop Corn is dead spot on. It is a sight to see with the Patriot Riders escorting the families. Its too sad that it is still occurring thou.
