You are thinking of Henrichs knee, Hickman had the shoulder. But even if that was the case, who cleared him to practice in the spring? Why was everything fine until practice 10 on his shoulder? If it was a high school issue, why did we choose to not correct it until April and have him miss fall camp with our four star recruit?
I believe that to be the case for Robinson tho I’m not sure. They are being real careful with him.
Getting a 6th year is almost a no-brainer but both starting OT's are likely to return next year plus a bunch of guys jump over him on the depth chart. The O-Line fraternity is pretty tight!
Did Robinson have hammie issues in high school? Or did he just start having the problem when he got to Lincoln? Is it still a hammie with Robinson. I think that is going to be an ongoing thing with this kid unfortunately. Some of those guys are just to tight.
Tough to really know, as every athlete will tweak or pull a hammy at some point in their life or another.Did Robinson have hammie issues in high school? Or did he just start having the problem when he got to Lincoln?

More common with younger athletes though, as they typically don’t have well rounded strength programs in high school. A LOT of hamstring injuries could be fixed if coaches and players at the HS level would put more emphasis on flute strength and development. He’ll be fine in the long run.
Good points, and I am really glad they are being careful. We are going to need him this year especially if Washington isn't available, but it is far better to err on the side of caution with this so that it doesn't become a chronic issue.Based on his rushing stats his three years of high school (two years with 2000+ yards and one with 1973 yards) highly doubtful he had any hamstring issues

With that being said I can tell you from personal experience once you have a bad hamstring pull or tear you have to be cautious and that appears to be what they are doing here according to Coach Walters. I had to do similar and really only had one other pro elm after the first one. Once you feel a slight tweek you have to stop. I think they are handling it the right way.
Also make sure your stretching etc is done properly
I did not specify any one individual, Just to clarify, for you, go back and check out the linemen of the 1990 era. The program has lacked that type of over all talent for the past 20 years. I am not going to continue this conversation just to hear your head rattle. I made my point and stand by it. Apparently, there are others on this board who agree with me.No, I wasn't sure since in my mind Cam Meredith is not linked to flash and dash, poor play or poor recruiting.
