It is times like this that I wonder if the local fish wraps come here for story ideas. I am not saying that would be a bad thing to write about what the fans are actually discussing. It was just two days ago that several posters were talking about how held had turned the room around compared to the last RB coach. now tada an article about that very subject. I see this happen more often than you might think.
Not to stray too far from football, but the enervated media is generally lazy and unimaginative, derivative you you will. I have no doubt that these hacks scan sites like this to come up with ideas.
We are just in that lull ... fall camp is nearly over, there really is no real new exciting news so they recycle things to fill the bandwidth. Next week we will start to get ramped up to the beginning of the season, discerning opponents, looking at other conference teams ...
Why wouldn't they glance at sites like this? It gives them an idea about what topics are important to the most dedicated fans - I'm not sure why that's a problem.
As for the rest of your generalizations, it sounds like the best solution for you would be to put the "enervated media" on ignore.
Wow makes no sense to me at all. They may have just created their first issue with the team. Stay tuned.....
