I am not sure where this guy came up wit that stat. I count 340 points scored by opponents. His numbers only add up to 266.

He left out 4 and half games in the middle of the season to make the difference more impressive. The way he wrote it makes it easy to think he just cut the season in two, which is kind of misleading. It's not crazy but any time you have to put half games in a stat like that, you know you're cherry picking some.
