Release the Ducken!
Coaches become geniuses when they have veteran offensive lines and talented quarterbacks.I'm scarred from last year but is Satterfield still considered our weakest link?
By the same people that hate our Coordinators year in and year out
Yes
By level headed people
No
with no real sample size to go on for this year except the spring game and roster info, it looks like its bob wager at the moment.I'm scarred from last year but is Satterfield still considered our weakest link?
The lines playing without helmets makes me think their GPA must be too high.

What I like about these pics is with the exception of who appears to be Neyor. (pretty sure that is #18) Al the ball runners have the ball high and tight with 5 points of contact. Neyor does not seem to have it put into his elbow. So, it does appear from these pics work is being done on turnover prevention.
Strength and conditioning is obviously very important, but I think the best offensive lines are tremendously athletic. Tight ends playing Oline if you will. That is an area that needs improvement. I think this staff is recruiting very well on the oline, so hoping to see a jump in athleticism up front..The O-line look like big armed men finally. I've always thought we looked small in the arms for several years. Maybe not all but most.
He was working without a QB ,he lost the top two running backs and the top three receivers by the third game. He was VERY limited in what plays he could call you held your breath every time his QB went back to pass. Defenses were stacking the box because there was NO deep threat so the running game was not very effective. We will see a much more dynamic offense this coming season.with no real sample size to go on for this year except the spring game and roster info, it looks like its bob wager at the moment.
Doesnt mean its coachingIf not Satt, then who? Barthel? Foley? Both units underperformed last year, IMO.
Just cuz in the first season a certain group underperforms that means we have a weak link in the staff? If not Satt, then who? Barthel? Foley? Both units underperformed last year, IMO.
