Now show me the tape of SF at Stanford playing safety. HH has two years yet, we need him at qb this year.
We probably do, unless the NAIA kid can show he can adapt to the speed and learn the play book.
As an example for what? I do not understand your question.
SF was a safety at Stanford, then transferred and was qb here, then went on to play some safety in the NFL.
While HH can do something similar at a different position, we need him as our No. 2 qb and to give other teams things to worry about, and use him just often enough for validating that worry, besides if DR gets hurt he's our best bet at backup.
I havent forgotten HH had had really very little to no qb training until last year. Now he's had more development than at any other time, and good development as well, so for certain he's improved, how much? Thats the question.
But MR knows we can win with him.
