I would say you look for a reason to criticize any positive comments. Saying a player has the potential to look like someone else. Based on size, speed and other tangible. Is not saying they will be that player. It is saying he has that potential. Not that he is there now. A simple "I hope your right " gives the same questioning tone without appearing negative. Not at all. Like I said if he is in the three deep at any spot he should see some playing time. That would be an impressive feat for a WR to play as a freshman with the amount of depth we have. I am just trying to be realistic. This forum has a history of getting excited about a new player. Sometimes it is justified because our on field results have been poor. When a freshman comes in and plays significant time it either means they are a top talent in the country or that we just dont have good players at that position. I don't think either of those two things are true. CN is going to be good. But our WR may be ridiculously deep (and the coaches have echoed this sentiment). This year will tell us a lot about how Rhule uses depth. If CN plays more than a few downs per game it will mean that we are using a lot of depth. If he doesn't play much it will mean we are still using plenty of depth but not as much as we would like to get CN meaningful snaps.
There are far too many cry babies on Huskermax who assume everything anyone posts is negative. Nothing I have said about Nelson has been negative. People need to stop being so defensive.

Iowa is in the top eight in all of college football for the most returning starters. Not so sure.
Their all-world punter is gone. He was game changing. He alone changed field position allowing their inept offense to not be so inept.
Cooper DeJean and Logan Lee were drafted off of that defense.
They lost more to the portal than they gained.
Plus they're liking their new Oz punterIowa is in the top eight in all of college football for the most returning starters.
You like toenail-less men? This one made me get real excited.
Lol. I could see how you would get that. No I like coaches working guys so hard that they lose a toenail. You like toenail-less men?
It’s not who they’re returning it’s who they lost. I think it’s a good thing (for us) they’ve got so much returning on offense.Iowa is in the top eight in all of college football for the most returning starters.
