So i'll start with this -
2019 F250 Diesel - 27k miles

Never had it in the shop for anything other than maintenance and getting replacement cameras.. Just got an offer for a monthly style subscription for about $50 per month or $1800 for 3 more years of full warranty coverage. My question is what are your thoughts on getting this warranty, i don't plan on getting rid of it for another 5 or so years mostly as i only drive it during winter snow storms and pulling our 5th wheel during the summer.. Appreciate the wisdom!

If not an inconvenience in cost, do it. My 2 shekels

Not sure these warranties are worth it? Put the $ away and let it work for you. Have 2 Buicks now 10/11 years, both with 100k miles and never spent a dime on them or had any warranty work done. Did do regular maintenance and tires etc! Newer vehicles last longer and are more dependable.

Don't do it!

Take Dave Ramsey's advice. Take that money that you'd spend on premiums, and invest it in a rainy day fund. You'll get a better return, whether or not you need to spend it on repairs. If you don't need the money for repairs, you'll be money ahead (e.g. could go on another vacation with that 5th wheeler). But if you buy that extended warranty and don't need it, the money's lost.

An exception might be if it's an actual factory extended warranty (depending on the details). Diesel drivetrains are just about bullet proof... but expensive...

Keep in mind that any insurance or extended warranty plans are designed so that the company makes money in the long haul (otherwise they wouldn't be able to stay in business). Do your research, and read the fine print.

Hopefully, the extended warranty programs have improved since I last had one (many years ago). Everything that went wrong on my car wasn't covered by the warranty. Same thing was told to the people standing in line in front of me, to settle their repair bills. I think the company person, after being told they were ripping off customers, was tired of telling the customers "I'm sorry you feel that way".

If it is being sold by the manufacturer as a true extension of the original bumper-to-bumper warranty, it can be a good thing.

If it is being sold and underwritten by a third party, it is really more of an insurance policy with a lot of exclusions.

thank you for the input!! here is the plan - Seems like just an extension from the factory, but i fear - "normal wear and tear"...
